The Polypropylene pleated filter cartridge or PP Filter Cartridge is constructed with a high surface area melt-blown polypropylene media for low initial pressure drop, high dirt holding capacity, and high-efficiency performance. It is an efficient membrane pre filter and can act as a final polishing filters for numerous fluid refining processes.

A cartridge reduces the dissolved calcium, magnesium, and to some degree manganese and ferrous iron ion concentration in hard water. These “hardness ions” cause three major kinds of undesired effects.
